Turkish White Bean Dip

 

Serve this creamy dip with low-fat tortilla chips, pita chips, raw vegetables, crackers, or bread.

Ingredients

            
  • 1 16 ounce can white beans, such as cannellini or great northern, rinsed and drained
  • 2 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup chopped arugula or watercress
  • salt and ground black pepper

Directions

1.
In a food processor or blender, combine the beans, oil, lime juice, cumin, and garlic. Process until smooth.

Transfer to a small bowl. Stir in the arugula or watercress and season with the salt and pepper.
