A melange of juicy fresh fruit, sweet dried fruit, and protein-rich nuts is a healthy addition to the morning meal.

Ingredients

1 navel orange
1/3 cup canned crushed pineapple with juice
6 dried plums, cut into slivers
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
2 tablespoons slivered almonds

Directions

1.
Peel the orange and separate into sections. Cut the sections into small pieces. Transfer to a bowl. Add the pineapple, plums, and extract. Sprinkle the almonds on each .
